About *online* OUTLANDS - PVP - SKILL BASED PROGRESSION - RPG - ECONOMY
Hello ladies and gentlemen! I've just purchased a dedicated server that will be around for a long time. I've secured 6 months to see if I can build a playerbase. The server is going to be oldschool RPG focused. This means, no main level. Theres levels for every skill you can think of, and you can get them to 100. You will slowly gain proficiency and benefits to your character as you progress each of these skills, but you will not become an overpowered god maxed out. You will still be on an even playing field. This allows us to lock breaking blocks, using tools, or weapons, behind level requirements, giving players a slow burn that is going to be enjoyable and filled with accomplishment feelings. No speedrunning the game, best stuff. You will FEEL like you are accomplishing something. There will be a player driven economy, exactly how is still in the works but there will be a physical currency, and players will be allowed to make shops in town. There will be NPC vendors, and early players will likely grind materials for levels, and sell these materials in the town for profit. Currency will have many uses in the future. There will be repeatable difficult dungeons and raids and lots of content. I have a beautiful vision for what I am trying to create, and I need some people who would be interested in helping. Mostly for free while we get things up and running, but could possibly become paid in the future once the server is established. If you want to help make mods specifically for the server, we could talk about compensation for that as well. I need PLAYERS to come start building a community, make the place lively. Understand that this server was JUST created and is still in development. The main town has not yet been built. With that being said, I welcome you to at least come build a home that you can return to later on when the server is finished!
